Our preference is for projects where our acumen in complex, challenging deals leads to greater success, particularly those that are “non-cookie cutter” or where there’s a need to “untie the knot.” Toward that end, we rigorously pursue off-market opportunities and rely on the breadth and strength of our relationships, our strong interpersonal skills, and our ability to assess and finance investments to provide momentum.
From a design perspective, we seek to develop architecturally distinct buildings that respect their location, neighborhood and site; buildings that will live in harmony with their surroundings and add character and value beyond the economic. We support, encourage and select architects whose visions bring forth interesting, eye-pleasing designs through the use of, for example, unique fenestration patterns, cantilevered elements or distinctive materials.
Each of our development projects is well designed and well constructed and possesses high quality architecture and finishes geared toward a discriminating buyer or tenant. Our goal is to create good value for customers and strong returns for our partners and investors.
